Join the TRLP Class of 2024 in Supporting BEAR: A Commitment to Houston’s Vulnerable Children

The Texas REALTOR® Leadership Program (TRLP) Class of 2024 is taking a stand for Houston’s most vulnerable children by partnering with BEAR, a nonprofit that supports at-risk and CPS-involved kids. Their goal? To raise $100,000 to ensure these children receive the resources and care they desperately need.

BEAR is the only 501(c)(3) organization working directly with CPS and other child welfare organizations in Houston, providing essentials like clothing, hygiene products, and school supplies to children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. By working with BEAR, TRLP Class of 2024 is channeling their leadership development into impactful community service—demonstrating that leadership is not just about business but about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

How You Can Participate

Supporting BEAR alongside TRLP Class of 2024 is easy, and there are several exciting ways to get involved:

1. Space Cowboys Baseball Game

On Sunday, September 15th, join us for an afternoon of baseball at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, where the Space Cowboys will take on the Reno Aces. Part of your ticket purchase will go directly to BEAR’s programs. It’s a fun way to enjoy the game while giving back to children in need. When purchasing tickets, be sure to mention the TRLP member (Juan Luis Macedo)  you are supporting!

2. Stetsons & Stilettos Gala

Put on your best boots and join us on Sunday, October 6th for BEAR’s annual Stetsons & Stilettos Gala. This Western-themed event will be a night to remember, with great food, dancing, and entertainment—all for a worthy cause. All proceeds support BEAR’s mission to provide hope and essential services to Houston’s at-risk children.

3. General Fundraising
